EmpowerGirlsInTech was founded in 2022 with the mission bridge the gender gap within the tech industry by providing resources, support and education to champion young women to pursue careers in tech.

We use interactive workshops to educate young women aged 12-18 about the tech industry. Our hands-on sessions cover digital skills, coding, practical activities and providing a fun and engaging learning environment. By fostering curiosity and building confidence, we help pave the way for the next generation of female tech innovators.
EMPOWERGIRLSINTECH ROLE MODELS
We celebrate women who are thriving in the tech industry and highlight their inspiring career journeys on our ‘Role Models’ page. By showcasing their achievements and sharing their stories, we aim to motivate and empower young women to pursue their own tech aspirations.
MENTORING PROGRAMME
Our mentoring program connects young women aspiring to join the tech industry with our Icons—successful women who have made significant strides in tech. Through this program, mentees receive personalized advice, guidance, and support from experienced professionals. By fostering these connections, we aim to help young women kick-starting and navigate their career paths.
PODCAST
We're excited to announce the upcoming launch of our podcast, where we'll share inspiring stories of women succeeding in the tech field, both in their careers and in business. Each episode will feature interviews with trailblazing women who are making a significant impact in technology. Paida Mangi studied Computer Science at the University of Leicester. Despite facing the common challenges that many women in tech experience, Paida overcame these obstacles with resilience and determination. Now, she is committed to using her skills, education, and experience to empower young women aspiring to join the tech industry. Through her initiative, she aims to provide mentorship, resources, and a supportive community for future female tech leaders as the founder of EmpowerGirlsInTech.
