Our Strategy
We deliver engaging workshops tailored to the specific interests and concerns of young women aged 12-18, addressing the myriad of reasons why they may not initially be drawn to the tech industry. Our approach is multifaceted, combining interactive activities, guest speakers, and hands-on projects designed to demystify the tech field and showcase its vast opportunities.
We emphasize the creativity and problem-solving aspects of tech, highlighting how it intersects with various interests such as art, design, and social impact. By providing relatable role models and real-world examples of women thriving in tech careers, we aim to challenge stereotypes and inspire confidence in our participants.

Our Recent Projects
Trinity High School Manchester
At Trinity High School, We facilitated an immersive and interactive workshop, igniting the curiosity and imagination of students while broadening their understanding of the diverse career pathways within the tech industry. Through engaging activities and discussions, we showcased the myriad opportunities available, ranging from software development and data analysis to user experience design and cybersecurity.
By exploring real-world case studies and highlighting the impact of technology across various sectors, we aimed to inspire students to envision themselves as future leaders and innovators in the field. Our workshop fostered a dynamic learning environment where students were encouraged to ask questions, collaborate, and discover their own unique interests and talents within the ever-evolving landscape of technology.
Web Design Masterclass
Empower Girls in Tech recently hosted an enriching web design masterclass, empowering participants with the essential skills and knowledge to craft compelling and user-friendly digital experiences. Through hands-on tutorials, practical exercises, and guided mentorship, attendees delved into the fundamentals of web design, learning about layout, typography, color theory, and responsive design principles.
Our masterclass emphasized the importance of creativity, problem-solving, and attention to detail in crafting visually stunning and functional websites. By providing a supportive and collaborative learning environment, we enabled participants to unleash their creativity, explore new technologies, and gain confidence in their abilities as skilled web designers. Our goal was to equip young women with the tools and confidence to pursue careers in web design, contributing to a more diverse and inclusive tech industry.
